Teaching Assistant

The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint one Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. We would like a friendly team player with high expectations to join our enthusiastic, hardworking team. Under the direction of teachers/senior staff, tasks to includesupporting children 1-1, organising the provision of active break times by arranging, setting up and facilitating games and activities for children across the age ranges. There will also be some general classroom based tasks alongside the main duties.

Essential Attributes

  • s hard-working, has high standards and enjoys the challenge of working in a small school environment.
  • Experience of working with small groups or individual children.
  • Understands the importance of play based learning.
  • Team member but to also show initiativewhen required.
  • Is knowledgeable and organised.
  • Is helpful, understanding, calm and consistent in their standards and behaviour.•Is flexible, enjoys sharing ideas and who understands the importance of collaboration.
  • Will promote the schools chosen Christian values and, has an understanding of the importance of them in Church Schools.

Desirable Attributes

  • Has an interest in developing learning thorugh outdoor play.
  • Has an interest in providing quality 1-1 intervention and support.
